What the Consultation Is NOT
While our free consultation provides valuable information and guidance, it does not replace a comprehensive initial assessment.
During the 20-minute consultation, we cannot:
– Provide a formal diagnosis
– Conduct standardized testing or evaluation
– Create a detailed treatment plan
– Offer specific therapy recommendations or goals
If you decide to move forward after the consultation, we’ll schedule a full assessment where we can thoroughly evaluate communication skills and provide you with a complete report and personalized treatment plan.

Can I bring my child to the consultation?
Absolutely! Many families choose to have their child join for part or all of the consultation. This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to meet the SLP, experience what a virtual session feels like (if that is the therapy option for you!), and help you determine if therapy is a good fit for your family. However, please note this is an informal meet-and-greet rather than a formal assessment.
What if I need more than 20 minutes?
We’ll do our best to address your key questions within the time frame. If you need a more in-depth discussion, we can schedule a full assessment where we’ll have plenty of time to thoroughly address your needs.
